Jordan Viaene started playing bass and guitar when he was about 10 years old and was always 100% self-taught. At a young age, Jordan began experimenting with multi-track audio programs, recording and building his own instrumental rock tracks at age 14. He grew quickly into a natural musician with a lot of self-contained knowledge he earned himself through the years.
Viaene met the band members at a New Years party in 2008/2009. During the party, he demonstrated his playing on an acoustic guitar and instantly grabbed John’s attention. John invited Jordan to jam with them after seeing Viaene’s initial talent. The rest of the band knew they had stumbled across a one of a kind musician with an extreme potential to become an excellent performer when he first came to play with them.
In 2010, Viaene attended the Audio Production and Engineering program at Metalworks Institute in Mississauga Ontario and received a diploma with honours. He also received a specialist certificate from Berklee College of Music specializing in Mixing, Mastering and Music Business Entrepreneurship. Ever since joining the band, Jordan had a strong desire to involve music into his career. Jordan completed his first album in 2013 for Kandy Face (“Farewell Flamboro”) that he produced and engineered. Only a few months after he completed the album, he began production on Kandy Face’s second album (“Stupid Famous”) which was released on September 20th 2015. Both albums were released through Jordan’s independent label, “Lost Rockstar Records.” Jordan is devoted and aspires to make a lucrative career out of playing and recording rock based music.
